🎯 Goal:

Analyze and evaluate whether existing scripts in the core-scripts repo can potentially over time be replaced or removed by declarative configurations or build in bootc image hardening.

For each script, determine:

If its functionality can be achieved declaratively
What mechanism would replace it (policies.json, systemd, etc.)
Any limitations or required adjustments
Nice to have: Template examples for replacements
